BRAD BUCKLEY PROMO PIC COLOUR

Two words sum up this performer.

1/. VERSATILITY

2/. PROFESSIONALISM

Brad has been performing in the Queensland music scene since the
early 90s in various formats. His career has come full circle since
then having progressed from solo performances, to his six year stint
as front man of the highly successful Brisbane covers act “Piston
Broke” and then on to another six year run in the very popular duo “2
Not Out” and now in the midst of the next chapter with act “TOO EZY ”.

Brad has now taken on all of this experience and incorporated it into
an extremely versatile solo act. The key is a broad knowledge of all
genres so as to appeal to a wide cross range of audience in varying
styles. From a laid back and extremely easy listening bistro style to
a more up-tempo after work public bar audience, Brad can cover it
for you. Although the performance is in an unplugged acoustic
style, as this is the style that this performer prefers, this does not
detract from the entertainment aspect of the show. Requests are
always considered and Brad likes to make his audience feel welcome
with his personable and easily approachable style.

Keeping the 60’s & 70’s alive!

 Late for Woodstock Pic

In 1998, four inspired musicians came up with a new band called   Late For Woodstock. The group embraced the songs, artists and lifestyle of modern music’s most popular and enduring era.

The 60’s and 70’s did more than just pass by. It was the adolescence of a new world. Flower power, hippies, the antiwar movement, bell bottoms and the summer of love, combined to spawn a new era of peace in humanity’s “ the Age of Aquarius, if you will.

This legacy of peace, love and world vision was etched in stone by an amazing collection of songs and sounds that captured the essence of mankind’s most creative years in music. Artists were bursting with a mass of creativity that is, so far, unsurpassed.

Late for Woodstock initially formed to bring these classic sounds and images back to live audiences. The four-piece line up features rhythm and lead guitars, harmonica, bass and drums with four part harmonies. The players, who all grew up in the 60’s and ‘turned on’ in the 70’s, are experienced musicians who simply love the music with every fibre of their collective being.

With the motto, “tune in, turn on and rock out,” LFW brought their music to thousands of people at venues across Queensland and NSW. A loyal following soon developed as people began to rediscover that the music of the 60’s & 70’s was alive and kicking.

Now, after a four-year hiatus, these hippies of the last millennium, these keepers of the faith, Late for Woodstock have reformed!

Unlike the majority of bands on the covers/tribute circuit, Late for Woodstock don’t just play the music, they live it. The band is more of an artistic expression than an act. The music runs in their blood, fuelling their passion to faithfully recreate some of the best songs ever written.

Having no shortage of classic covers and artists to choose from, LFW make a connection with an audience that now spans three generations. From laid-back acoustic songs to full-on electric rock, the music captures an era that allows for such freedom and invites you to do the same.
