Saturday 24 Sep 8:00 pmtoSunday 25 Sep 12:00 am

The Cut Lunch line up is:

Ray Wynne – Lead Vocals, Guitars and percussion

Paul Kusy – Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals

Campbell Miller – Bass and Vocals

Brian North – Drums & Backing Vocals

We realise we are not rock stars, so we will not waste your time with pages of info on our hobbies, our influences and our experience.  (Does playing second recorder in the Sale High School Orchestra 1974 – 1976 really matter?????)

What matters is that we love music, and 100% live music (no soul destroying sequencers or backing tracks). Songs from the classics that everyone loves to hit songs from today’s charts.

We all have day jobs to pay the bills, and while we would dearly love to play music full-time, the positive from this is that when you see us play, we are all having a blast and blowing off steam, just like the audience.  It’s not like we have played “Brown Eyed Girl” for the 356th time this year, we love playing all our songs and this enjoyment on stage translates to fun and a great night for all in the audience.

Both Ray and Campbell are capable lead singers in their own right, and sharing the lead vocals on different songs adds to the variety for the listeners and also allows for strong harmonies.

Established for over 10 years, we are regarded as one of the leading cover bands on the Sunshine Coast.

Popular Sunshine Coast Band Native Aliens are landing at the  Palmwoods Hotel on Friday 10th June 2011 from 8pm.  The Aliens have gone from strength to strength over the past  years and have gained a reputation of one of the best Live Rock Cover band on the coast.

If your choice in music include the likes of  John Butler Trio, Jet, Nirvana, Audioslave, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foofighters, Led Zep, Ac/Dc and other masters of power rock, then this incredible trio cannot fail you.

In the hands of these undoubted masters the songs are delivered from the heart. Not just by heart but with heart. The energy is compulsive. You must move.

Lead Vocals and Bass Guitar are one in JAMES FOX. His fingers seemingly autonomous with his instrument, he sings with passion and power. His flying riffs and soaring voice are joined at the hip with magic drumster JASON MAHA. At times a blur behind the kit this maestro makes his drums give their all.

The tight and wild combination laid down creates the foundation for talented Lead Guitarist GLENNO CUNNINGHAM to whisper or scream, lull or excite. These NATIVE ALIENS are undeniable .

Touring South East Queensland and interstate they are carving a path of popularity and gathering a legion of fans that just keeps growing. NATIVE ALIENS popular T-shirts and merchandise are showing up everywhere. Powerful. Harmonious. Riveting. NATIVE ALIENS. Don’t miss ‘em

“SIRYN” an energetic covers band were formed on the Sunshine Coast in October 2009, comprising of four seasoned musicians, each with varying influences & musical backgrounds.

2009 was a fine year for rock on the Sunshine Coast … “SIRYN” was unleashed; these fun luvin Aussies produce music that is raw, infectious and full of essential rock spunk.  Their material is amazingly diverse – ranging from compulsive hard rock (AC/DC, Pat Benatar, Joan Jet, Grinspoon) to saucy anthemic thrash (Nirvana, Green Day) to funky pseudo-mystical pop (Red Hot Chili Peppers & Pink, Lily Allen).

“SIRYN” are a refreshing face on the covers scene, playing not only the standard rock anthems but also songs that appeal to a new generation of live music fans .

Everyone talks about rock these days, the problem is, they forget about the roll, but not this Sunshine Coast four piece, Kylie Camilleri (vocals), Ken Emmington (guitar/backing vocals), Tony Camilleri (bass/backing vocals), Pete Schulz (drums), when “SIRYN” roll audiences are invariably drawn in … heads turn, feet tap, body’s sweat, endorphins flow … before you know it you are totally absorbed and on the dance floor immersed in the music.  It is a reminder to forget your problems and celebrate the moment at hand; it’s a time when primal energy comes from the audience delivered by the music.

The band brings with them an energy that comes from both experience and sheer Oz-centricity, if anyone thought mainstream rock went out of style, apparently they failed to hear “SIRYN”.

Siryn is performing on Friday 9th September from 8pm til 12am. Courtesy bus available from 5pm on 0409 900 303 or 0448 123 708
