2010 marked 50 years of guitar playing for Phil Emmanuel.

To mark this special occasion Phil and brother Tommy and band played to sold out shows all around Australia.

In The past 50 years, Phil has shared the stage with such great artists as:

Col Joy, Slim Dusty, Reg Lindsay, John Farnham, Jimmy Barnes, Venessa Amarosi, Charlie Pride, Tom T Hall, Tammy Wynette, Mark Knopfler and Dire Straights, Annie Jeffs, America, Budgie, Carlos Santana, Roy Bucannan, Leon Russel, Dolly Parton, The amazing Rhythm Aces to name a few.

“He even stole half a bottle of wild turkey from Bob Dylan!”.

In 1999, Phil was invited to play at the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society Convention in Nashville Tennessee, and honour bestowed only to the worlds best players.

Phil has also appeared in many festivals throughout Europe.

In 2000, the Emmanuel brothers Phil & Tommy, performed at the closing ceremony at the Olympic games in Sydney, playing to an audience of 4.5 Billion world wide.

For the last ten years Phil has been working as a Solo Act, all over Australia, but is now performing with his own 4 piece band which consists of Phil on Guitar, Colin Chapman, bass guitar, Terry Barnard on 2^nd guitar, and Matty Peron on drums, who are well established sunshine coast musicians. As well as Phils original material the band also play classical rock instrumentals by Barch, etc, as well as Blues, Country  through to a classic medley of James Bond Music

Benjy Pocock is a multi award winning performer and one of Australia’s most sought-after guitarist, vocalist and songwriter. Winner of Instrumental of the Year, at the CMAA Golden Guitar Awards in Tamworth, Benjy is widely regarded as one of the finest emerging pickers in this country, and is part of the Fender Super Jam Line-up which performs to sell out crowds each year at the Tamworth Music Festival alongside other guitarists such as Keith Urban, Brendan Radford, Rod McCormack, Stuie French, Glen Hannah and Kevin Bennett.

Benjy’s reputation and ability as a guitarist has seen him in huge demand, performing for and touring with the top shelf of Australian artists including Keith Urban, The Ranch, Lee Kernaghan, Beccy Cole, Tanya Kernaghan and many more.

Also a renowned session musician in many studios’ Australia wide, he has played on a collection of no.1 albums. As songwriter, vocalist and guitarist in theVIBE, Benjy Pocock leaves you in no doubt as to his outstanding musical ability.

PULP FRICTION originally formed in January 2006 proving themselves in the Sunshine

Coast band scene with their modern rock repertoire and liveliness on stage. Almost five years down the track and Pulp Friction is now one of the most sought after rock cover bands

in South East Queensland. Their refreshing raw energy and musicality, coupled with a down

to earth, professional attitude are leaving crowds and venues begging for more of Pulp

Stirring up Sunny Coast crowds with their high

energy presence, Sarenda is one of the most

explosive Rock Coverbands to emerge on the

circuit. Renee’s strong vocal range, from sweet

acoustic melodies to full on rock tunes from

female and male artists enables Sarenda to

provide venues with a unique appeal that the

majority of male vocalist rock bands can’t

supply. Sarenda blends a diverse cover range

to provide a dance filled frenzy.

Formed in 2007 Sarenda combines the stage

presence and powerful vocal performance of

Renee Lehmann, the tense aggression of

drummer John Kelly, the rumbling grooves of

bassist Neil Black, the sonic assault of lead

guitarist Darren Jaye…

Janice J is a long time Sunshine Coast identity on the music scene having played solo as well as with many successful acts including the current popular rock band ‘Ultra Violet’ of which Janice is joined by two other members : on drums the charismatic Brett Hoopert and on guitars and vocals multi instrumentalist Michael Barry. Together the trio play a stripped back collection of many favourite tunes both old and new interpreted in a freeform acoustic style.  One highlight of Janice J’s shows is always crowd participation with friendly banter and sing-along’s a must. Janice J has often been described as a passionate performer and many a coast party goer will have a story to tell of being caught up in the moment and keeping the lasting memories.

The boys have been playing together since meeting on Great Keppel Island during the Get wrecked days of the 80’s.

They are both very well known in their own right here on the Sunshine Coast.  They play a wide range of covers, with a few of Bills originals as well.

Their vocal harmonies blended together with the lead guitar work of Peter Field (second to none), combined with Bills finger picking style gives the duo a very solid sound.
