Keeping the 60’s & 70’s alive!
In 1998, four inspired musicians came up with a new band called Late For Woodstock, playing all your groovy songs from the 60’s and 70’s The group embraced the songs, artists and lifestyle of modern music’s most popular and enduring era.
With the motto, “tune in, turn on and rock out,” LFW brought their music to thousands of people at venues across Queensland and NSW. A loyal following soon developed as people began to rediscover that the music of the 60’s & 70’s was alive and kicking.
Now, after a four-year hiatus, these hippies of the last millennium, these keepers of the faith, Late for Woodstock have reformed!

We realise we are not rock stars, so we will not waste your time with pages of info on our hobbies, our influences and our experience. (Does playing second recorder in the Sale High School Orchestra 1974 – 1976 really matter?????)
What matters is that we love music, and 100% live music (no soul destroying sequencers or backing tracks). Songs from the classics that everyone loves to hit songs from today’s charts.
We all have day jobs to pay the bills, and while we would dearly love to play music full-time, the positive from this is that when you see us play, we are all having a blast and blowing off steam, just like the audience. It’s not like we have played “Brown Eyed Girl” for the 356th time this year, we love playing all our songs and this enjoyment on stage translates to fun and a great night for all in the audience.
Both Ray and Campbell are capable lead singers in their own right, and sharing the lead vocals on different songs adds to the variety for the listeners and also allows for strong harmonies.
Established for over 10 years, we are regarded as one of the leading cover bands on the Sunshine Coast.
Cut Lunch is playing from 8pm through til midnight with our courtesy bus available from 5pm.

The “Thunderdogs” are a covers band – Formed on the Sunshine Coast in October 2007, comprising of five seasoned musicians, each with varying influences & musical backgrounds.
2008 was a fine year for rock on the Sunshine Coast … the “Thunderdogs” were unleashed, these gnarly Aussies produce music that is raw, infectious and full of essential rock spunk. The material is amazingly diverse – ranging from compulsive hard rock (The Angels, Foo Fighters, ACDC) to saucy anthemic thrash (Nirvana, Green Day) to funky pseudo-mystical (Red Hot Chili Peppers) to more sensitive songs (U2, Powderfinger) the “Thunderdogs” are a refreshing face on the covers scene.
Everyone talks about rock these days, the problem is, they forget about the roll, but not this Sunshine Coast four piece, Mick Flanagan (vocals), Ken Emmington (guitar/backing vocals), Tony Camilleri (bass/backing vocals), Pete Schulz (drums), Kylie Camilleri (backing vocals), when the “Thunderdogs” roll … audiences are invariably drawn in … heads turn, feet tap, body’s sweat, endorphins flow … before you know it you are totally absorbed and on the dance floor immersed in the “Thunderdogs” experience. It is a reminder to forget your problems and celebrate the moment at hand; it’s a time when primal energy comes from the audience delivered by the music.
The band brings with them an energy that comes from both experience and sheer Oz-centric bloody-mindedness, if anyone thought mainstream rock went out of style, apparently they failed to hear the “Thunderdogs”.
The Thunderdogs are playing in the Sports bar from 8pm til midnight with courtesy bus available from 5pm
